Finally!! I'm now a Daddy! Our baby Nicolas was born at 2:30am after 12 hours of labor. I must admit, I never really realized how hard is it for women to carry that little life for 9 months and birth it after. I only had pity for my wife but i can't do anything about it, she endured so much pain..induction, epidural shot, episiotomy, vaccum, all happened in just one night. It was one of the scariest moment of my life, the baby's heartbeat dropped to 60bpm and I noticed the worried faces of the nurses though they were just silent about it.

All's well that ends well, although our baby Nicolas didnt cry after he came out which made me more worried, the doctors and nurses assured me that all is fine. He also endured a lot of stress plus an umbilical cord wrapped around his neck.

I now appreciate the value of life, its really a miracle.

We're Moving...

5 more days and we'll be moving to our new home, a $350,000 3BR townhouse we mortgage for 40 yrs. Why 40 yrs you may ask, we want to keep our monthly payment low even if it means most of our payment will just cover the interest. We bought our first home July last year, a 1 BR condo unit for $150K, and we just sold it for 178K..not bad for an 11 month investment and a at the same time primary residence. A $28K profit is almost 1.2 M pesos, saan mo nga naman pupulutin yun? I can say its a combination of guts and sheer luck, a 1BR condo upgraded to 3BR TH within two years in Canada is something to be proud of, and we are very proud we did it. And we are looking forward to another 25% increase of property assessment this coming July 1st, that means we can sell it again after that and make more money :) , but I won't do that, our little Nicholas does'nt want to be an NPA (No Permanent Address)

I was also lucky I have a good mortgage broker to count on, 5.05% interest is way much better than 6.75% I had before. Bernadette really did her job well! She won't take credit for it,she said we have good credit history and a high credit scores that's why banks are scrambling to lend us money..bravo for us too!!hehe.

He's Moving..

2 More weeks or more than that. Our little Nicholas probably noticed his world is getting smaller in Mommy's tummy. All our bags are packed and ready to go as the song goes, all we're waiting is for Nicholas to show us some signs that he's ready to come out. I know I'm prepared to be a father, I'm just afraid I will not be a good one..whatever happens, i will try to be as good as my father.

The not so first..

Ok..Ok..i have to admit, this is already my third blog and hopefully will last more than the previous two.





So what happened to the previous two? Nothing..i just simply forgot the password/s..hehe!





So why are you making the third one? Let's say IMPULSE! i just woke up one morning and decided to blog again (kahit walang katuturan). But this one is different!! I'm gonna be a Father within the next three weeks..and for a guy like me who never really like babies before (actually, tamad lang ako mag-alaga ng kamag-anak), I cant really explain how I feel right now.





EXCITED!!! that's understatement...at the age of 30, stable and good life, good career, good wife,and best job, I'm confident and im more than ready to accept new responsibilities.
